Description:
Lamar CTC, is actively seeking a MEP Senior Site Engineer with minimum 15 years of experience in HVAC, Plumbing and Fire Fighting. The ideal candidate will bring a wealth of technical knowledge, exceptional leadership skills, and a proven track record of successfully delivered projects.
Duties and Responsibilities:
DESIGN:
- Designing Knowledge of HVAC system
Heat load calculation (HAP software), SP calculation, Duct sizing, Diffuser and grille sizing, Chilled water pipes sizing, Pumps
- Knowledge of HVAC Equipment’s selection
Splits Ac, Package units, AHU’s, FCU’s, Chillers, Exhaust fans, Primary and Secondary pumps, etc.
- Designing Knowledge of Fire Fighting systems and selection
Hydraulic calculation (Elite software & others), sprinkler, fire hose cabinet, fire hydrant, FM200, NOVEC, Dry and wet risers, Fire pumps calculation and selection, etc.
- Designing Knowledge of Pluming System and selection
Water supply hydraulic calculation, drainage calculation, Storm calculation, plumbing pipes sizing, sump pit calculation, pump head calculation, EWH individual & centralized calculation, Vent pipes sizing, swimming pool.
- Review Mechanical Shop Drawing, assisting in shop Drawing preparation.
EXECUTION:
- Check plans and drawings to ensure all are accurate, checking and coordinating with project specification.
- Review shop-drawing Submittal to the client representative on site.
- Assist on the Modification of client representative comments (materials and drawing).
- Review and assist in preparation of materials submittal according to project specification.
- Prepare and submit method of statement.
- Follow the client representative for drawings and materials approval.
- Prepare and submit RFI’s for inspection and any technical clarifications
- Playing the role of MEP coordinator at site
- Participate where required in all aspects of the project management for the mechanical works.
- Manage and supervise on all site Mechanical works.
- Carrying out all Mechanical Works and equipment's installation activities.
- Review and assist in Takeoff materials and qty’s executed for invoice preparation.
- Undertake the detailed short-term planning and co-ordination at site in accordance with the master program.
- Control of the quality and technical correctness of the installation in accordance with the project quality assurance plan.
- Co-ordinate with the sub-contractors at site.
- Establish report and follow up execution works.
- Pre-resolve any unexpected technical difficulty at site that may arise at any time.
- Attend coordination meetings organized by client and consultants etc.
- Conduct regular inspections and assess the work performance done by subcontractors.
- Attend to site Meetings with client’s representative to solve technical issues and other related matters.
- Prepare and assist in as built drawing preparation and submittal.
- Manages the system testing and commissioning.
- Coordinate the handing over of completed works to client and completion of the necessary rectification works.
