Mechanical Design Engineer

Description:

B.S. Degree (or) Master’s Degree holder in Mechanical Engineering with minimum Ten (10) years of design experience in the electric public utility industry or related projects specially in the field of extra high voltage substations 380 KV.

• Must be familiar with International Design Codes & Standards like ASHRAE, SMACNA, UPC, AHRI.
• Must be computer literate and shall work on computerized heat load and duct sizing calculations for HVAC.
• Fully aware of substations mechanical design requirements.
• Preparation of high voltage substation’s SOW/PTS, pre-bid clarification.
• Review of technical submittals and preparing replies.
• Able to make site visits and prepare technical reports.
• Should be able to cooperate with concept related issues.
• Working Knowledge of AutoCAD / micro station is a plus point.
