Manager, Data Center Facility

Description:

Manager, Data Center Facility will be responsible for the overall management and operation of critical electrical, cooling and power systems within a high-availability data center environment. This role requires a deep understanding of electrical engineering principles, power distribution, and data center infrastructure. The Manager will lead the data center to ensure the reliability, efficiency, and safety of all electrical, cooling and fire systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of all electrical IT infrastructure Cooling, Power, and fire systems including:
• High-voltage and low-voltage power distribution systems
• UPS systems
• Generators and standby power systems
• Power monitoring and metering systems
• Energy efficiency initiatives
• Manage the day-to-day operations and maintenance of all electrical equipment.
• Respond to power outages and other electrical emergencies 24/7.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant electrical codes and safety standards
• Manage electrical-related projects, including new installations, upgrades, and maintenance projects.
• Plan and execute electrical infrastructure upgrades and expansions to support future growth.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in data center electrical engineering or a related field.
• Strong understanding of electrical power systems, including UPS systems, power distribution, Generators, Power quality, Electrical safety standards and Fire systems
