Description:
The Logistics Specialist will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient movement of goods and materials within our supply chain. This position requires a strong understanding of logistics processes, excellent communication skills in both Arabic and English, and the ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders.
Duties & Responsibilities / What You Will Do
- Coordinate Logistics Operations: Plan and execute the transportation and distribution of goods to ensure timely delivery and cost-effectiveness.
- Inventory Management: Monitor and manage inventory levels to prevent shortages and overstock situations.
- Customs Clearance: Work closely with customs authorities to ensure compliance with all import/export regulations, particularly in the Saudi Arabian market.
- Supplier and Vendor Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors to optimize logistics processes.
- Documentation: Prepare and maintain accurate documentation for shipments, ensuring compliance with local regulations.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements within the logistics and supply chain operations.
- Communication: Collaborate effectively with internal teams and external partners, providing timely updates on logistics activities.
- Problem Resolution: Address and resolve any issues or discrepancies related to logistics operations.
Required Qualifications / This Job Might Be For You If You Have The Below
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in logistics and supply chain management.
- Strong understanding of logistics processes and industry best practices.
- Knowledge of Saudi Arabian customs regulations and import/export requirements.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
