Logistics Sales Executive

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to generate new leads and expand our customer base in the logistics industry.
  • Identify and prospect potential clients through market research, networking, and targeted outreach.
  • Conduct in-depth needs assessments and consultations with clients to understand their logistics requirements and challenges.
  • Present and promote our range of logistics services, including transportation, warehousing, distribution, and supply chain solutions.
  • Create customized proposals and solutions that address client needs and demonstrate the value of our services.
  • Negotiate and close sales deals, ensuring favorable terms for both the client and the company.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth onboarding and implementation of new clients.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders in client organizations.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and competitive landscape to position our services effectively.
  • Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics, providing regular reports to sales management.
  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences to enhance brand visibility.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Logistics, or a related field. Additional certifications are a plus.
  • Proven track record of at least 3 years in B2B sales within the logistics or supply chain industry.
  • Strong understanding of logistics and supply chain processes, including transportation modes, warehousing, and distribution.
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills with the ability to build rapport and close deals.
  • Results-oriented mindset with a proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems, sales analytics tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to provide tailored solutions to client challenges.
  • Self-motivated and proactive, with a strong sense of initiative and a drive for continuous improvement.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, collaborating effectively with various departments.
  • Willingness to travel for client meetings, industry events, and business development activities.
