Lighting Director

Description:

**Key Responsibilities:**

- **Lighting Design:** Create and implement lighting designs for events, including stage lighting, ambient lighting, and special effects, in line with client requirements and event themes.

- **Programming:** Program and control lighting equipment using Avolite software and other digital light mixers to ensure seamless integration with other event production elements.

- **Setup & Operation:** Supervise the setup, operation, and dismantling of lighting equipment at event venues. Ensure all lighting systems are functioning optimally during events.

- **Team Coordination:** Work closely with the technical team, including sound and video technicians, to ensure synchronized production across all visual and audio components.

- **On-site Management:** Oversee live events to adjust lighting in real-time, respond to any technical issues promptly, and ensure the highest quality of stage lighting throughout the event.

- **Maintenance:** Regularly inspect and maintain lighting equipment to guarantee safety, reliability, and performance.

- **Client Interaction:** Collaborate with clients to understand their lighting preferences and provide expert advice to create the desired ambiance and visual impact for their events.

- **Documentation:** Prepare lighting plans, cue sheets, and other technical documentation for each event to ensure smooth operations.

**Qualifications:**

- Proven experience as a Light Programmer/Director in events, stage productions, or a related field.

- Strong knowledge of lighting design, stage lighting, and ambient lighting techniques.

- Proficiency in using digital light mixers, particularly Avolite software.

- Experience in handling lighting for various event types, including commercial and corporate events.

- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills for on-the-spot technical issues during live events.

- Strong communication and team coordination skills.

- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as per event schedules.

- A valid driver's license is a plus.
