The Role

You will advise on the development and asset management of major social infrastructure, power and water projects with ownership and responsibility on drafting and negotiating with counterparties and financiers of project agreements. You will advise the Group General Counsel and stakeholders on Joint Development Agreements, Shareholders Agreements, Power Purchase Agreements, Water Purchase Agreements, Project Development/Concession Agreements, EPC Agreements, Technology direct and escrow agreements and project agreement-specific direct agreements. This position requires you to provide regular due diligence on project structuring and project agreements of potential target projects or entities for M&A activities and assist with negotiation and drafting of letters of intent and share purchase agreements.

The Candidate

Ideally you will have at least 10yrs PQE gained from a leading international law firm and/or major Real Estate corporation where you have gained international project finance transactional experience. The Ideal candidate will be UK, Irish, Australian, New Zealand, Canadian OR US qualified with excellent written and verbal communication skills. Candidates must have international experience and be confident to present to senior internal and external stakeholders, including management, board members and government officials. Must be fluent in English with a Law Degree gained from a Western University.
