Leasing Manager

Description:

• Leasing Strategy Development:
• Develop and execute leasing strategies to achieve occupancy targets and maximize revenue.
• Identify and target prospective tenants, ensuring a balanced tenant mix aligned with the mall’s vision and consumer preferences.
• Deal Negotiation:
• Lead negotiations for lease agreements, including terms, conditions, and renewals.
• Prepare detailed proposals, term sheets, and contracts in collaboration with the legal team.
• Ensure all agreements comply with company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Tenant Relationship Management:
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing tenants to ensure retention and satisfaction.
• Address tenant concerns and coordinate solutions with internal departments.
• Act as the primary point of contact for tenant onboarding and operational matters.
• Market Research & Business Development:
• Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, competitor analysis, and potential retail concepts.
• Develop a robust pipeline of potential tenants, including international and local brands.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to promote available retail spaces and attract new tenants.
• Financial Planning & Reporting:
• Monitor leasing performance metrics, including rental income, occupancy rates, and arrears.
• Prepare and present leasing performance reports to senior management.
• Work with the finance team to forecast revenue and manage budgetary goals.
• Collaboration & Team Management:
• Work closely with mall management, marketing, and operations teams to enhance the tenant and customer experience.
• Mentor and guide junior leasing staff, providing training and performance feedback.

• Qualifications & Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Real Estate, or a related field. A master’s degree is a plus.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in retail leasing, preferably in malls or shopping centers.
• Proven experience in negotiating large-scale leasing deals with high-profile tenants.
• Strong knowledge of retail market trends and consumer behavior in the region.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in leasing management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
