Lead Mechanical Piping Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the design and installation of mechanical and piping systems, ensuring compliance with Aramco standards and project requirements.
• Oversee HDD crossing operations and ensure safe, efficient execution according to industry best practices.
• Develop P&ID, layout drawings, isometrics, and piping material specifications.
• Supervise and provide technical support to a team of engineers and designers.
• Collaborate with civil, electrical, and instrumentation teams to integrate mechanical and piping systems seamlessly.
• Conduct site inspections, monitor field activities, and ensure adherence to project quality standards.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant safety, environmental, and Aramco regulations.
• Prepare and present technical reports and project updates to stakeholders.
• Manage project timelines, resources, and budgets to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Aramco-approved engineer with a minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical and piping engineering.
• Demonstrated expertise in HDD crossings for infrastructure or pipeline projects.
• Strong knowledge of industry standards (ASME, API, ANSI) and Aramco-specific guidelines.
• Proficiency in relevant design software (AutoCAD, CAESAR II, PDMS, etc.).
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
