Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a learning strategy and program that are aligned with the organization’s objectives
• Ensure a full knowledge and understanding of the various business units and their specific training requirements
• Embrace and implement various types of training
• Track budget, negotiates contracts, builds and maintains relationships with third-party training providers
• Designs and produces training materials, including e-learning courses according to businesses needs
• Assess the success of the development plans and modifies where necessary
• Manage the development of the HR team form a training perspective
• Acting as the principal point of contact for anyone with questions about training and development
• Collaborate effectively with other relevant stakeholders
• Stay abreast of the latest developments in learning trends, changes in learning theory, and developments in learning technologies

Requirements

• The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 3-5 years’ experience as an L&D Manager or Assistant Manager for a 5* luxury hotel or similar.
• You must have exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, and be able to interface effectively with all levels of management.
• Ability to manage personnel and meet financial targets and other KPI’s
• Guest-oriented and service-minded
• Proven food and beverage experience
• Working knowledge of various computer software programs (MS Office, Power point etc)
• All candidates must be able to speak Professional English
