It Projects Manager

Description:

Key Responsibilities

• Management of small and medium-scale projects from inception to delivery.
• Management of project scope, risk, costs, milestone delivery and communication.
• Management of project meetings including project kick-starts and retrospectives.
• Management of low-level product delivery plans based on requirements.
• Management of the Change team’s work pipeline and release plan.
• Internal and external resource management.
• Driving the removal of impediments and other blockers the Change team face.
• Ensuring all necessary decisions are taken in a timely manner irrespective of owner.
• Management reporting, including delivery timescales, costs, and business impact.
• Management and reporting of cross-project program budgets.
• Assisting in the identification and management of third-party solution suppliers.
• Active participation in the planning, software delivery, and quality control processes.
• Re-planning according to feedback from testing, deployment, and users.

Experience Required

• Minimum 5 years experience within project and/or portfolio management roles.
• Proficiency in Project, Risk, and Stakeholder Management methodologies.
• Ability to work within an Agile environment.
• Understanding of requirements when working with financial services clients.
• Experience in the formation of new teams is advantageous but not essential.
