Description:
Installation and Maintenance:
- Install, troubleshoot, and repair irrigation systems, including pipes, valves, sprinklers, and controllers
- Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance to identify and address potential issues
- System Design:
- Assist in designing and planning irrigation systems based on site requirements and water conservation principles
- Recommend improvements or upgrades to existing systems for optimal performance
- Water Management:
- Monitor and adjust irrigation schedules to optimize water usage
- Implement water-saving techniques and technologies to promote sustainability
- Documentation:
- Maintain accurate records of irrigation system installations, repairs, and maintenance activities
- Provide documentation and reports as needed
- Customer Interaction:
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their irrigation needs
- Guide water-efficient practices and system usage
- Team Collaboration:
- Collaborate with landscaping and groundskeeping teams to ensure irrigation systems complement overall landscape design and maintenance
Requirements
Experience:
- Proven experience as an Irrigation Technician or similar role
- Familiarity with a variety of irrigation system types and components
- Skills:
- Proficient in troubleshooting and repairing irrigation system issues
- Ability to read and interpret irrigation system plans
- Knowledge of water conservation practices and technologies
- Physical Fitness:
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting, digging, and working in various weather conditions
- Communication:
- Strong communication skills to interact with clients, team members, and management effectively
