Responsibilities
- Help to source potential investments.
- Screen and review potential investment opportunities considering market segment, financial performance, risk and strategy.
- Help to Negotiate commercial terms and legal agreements with related parties.
- Help to structure new investment transactions.
- Lead the due diligence process on potential deals with consultants and external advisors.
- Build, review and present financial models and valuations of potential projects.
- Manage the process of compiling marketing information and legal documents on new investments (Teasers, Executive Summary, PPM, Terms and Conditions, etc.).
- Communicate with financial institutions and help to negotiate financing solutions for different investments.
- Post-acquisition deal monitoring and management.
- Produce periodical reports to the Investment Committee and investors.
- Represent on Board of Directors of portfolio companies.
- Participate in risk and audit reviews, annual budgeting, forecasting of revenues, and setting KPIs for portfolio companies.
- Review Investors’ queries and respond accordingly in a timely and effective manner.
- Identify different exit strategies and manage divestment process.
- Supervise and guide the investment team subordinate to achieve the department goals and objectives.
· Provide any other assistance to the Investment Department as required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in commerce, economics, business studies or related discipline.
- MBA or CFA is a must
Experience
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience gained in an investment bank or other financial institution.
- Proven administrative and managerial expertise; able to motivate and develop a strong team; have the required professional bearing and interpersonal skills to interface effectively with top management and external parties.
