Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and ARAMCO-approved Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) Manager to join our team for a long-term project in the Saudi Arabia. The HSE Manager will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and environmental compliance of our operations, and will oversee all HSE activities on-site. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in HSE management, with a strong background in Gulf-based projects.
Key Responsibilities
- HSE Compliance : Ensure strict adherence to all ARAMCO safety and environmental standards, as well as local and international regulations.
- HSE Planning : Develop, implement, and maintain HSE plans and policies for the project, including risk assessments, emergency response plans, and safety procedures.
- Safety Inspections : Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to identify hazards, unsafe conditions, and practices, and take corrective actions as necessary.
- Incident Investigation : Lead investigations into all HSE incidents, accidents, and near-misses to determine root causes and implement preventive measures.
- Training and Awareness : Develop and deliver HSE training programs for all project personnel, ensuring that they are well-informed and capable of working safely.
- Environmental Management : Manage environmental aspects of the project, including waste management, emissions control, and conservation efforts.
- Safety Culture : Promote a culture of safety and environmental responsibility among all project team members and subcontractors.
- Reporting : Prepare and submit regular HSE reports to senior management and ARAMCO, as required.
- Emergency Response : Establish and maintain emergency response plans and procedures, and conduct regular drills and exercises.
- HSE Documentation : Maintain accurate records of all HSE-related activities, incidents, and compliance documentation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety, or a related field.
- ARAMCO-approved HSE certification is mandatory.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in HSE management, preferably in Gulf-based projects.
- In-depth knowledge of ARAMCO safety standards and Gulf region HSE regulations.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence and inspire a safety-conscious culture.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Proficiency in HSE software and tools.
- Fluent in English; Arabic language proficiency is a plus.
- Willingness to work in remote project locations for an extended duration.
