Key Responsibilities:

• Leadership and Management: Lead and manage the IT department, including hiring, training, and evaluating IT staff. Develop and implement IT policies and procedures to ensure efficient and secure operations.
• Infrastructure Management: Oversee the maintenance, upgrade, and security of the hospital's IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and hardware. Ensure high availability and reliability of all IT systems.
• Technical Support: Provide technical support to staff and troubleshoot IT-related issues. Ensure timely resolution of hardware and software problems.
• Project Management: Plan, execute, and manage IT projects, including the implementation of new systems and technologies. Ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
• Compliance and Security: Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, including HIPAA and other relevant standards. Implement and maintain robust data security measures to protect patient information.
• Vendor Management: Manage relationships with IT vendors and service providers. Evaluate and negotiate contracts to ensure the best value for the hospital.
• Strategic Planning: Develop and implement an IT strategy that aligns with the hospital's goals and objectives. Stay current with emerging technologies and assess their potential impact on the hospital.
