Government Relations Manager

 

Description:

Key accountabilities

  • Supporting clients with completion of visas, iqamas, passports, and other paperwork
  • Manage the delivery of government & regulatory requirements, including commercial licenses, external approvals, chamber of commerce certificates, environment & health authority certificates, local municipality approvals etc.
  • Maintaining all company documents such MISA, Commercial registration, GOSI, etc.
  • Liaise with all Government Departments: Immigration, MISA, Ministry of Labor, Labor Office, Chamber of Commerce and MOFA
  • Install, prepare, and link all electronic governmental portals & services within the company and external clients
  • Ability to complete renewal of licenses, share transfers, and amendments etc. with all relevant government authorities
  • Assist staff with completing research for business activities, external approvals, and other requirements.

Key responsibilities

  • Responsible for visa processing and submitting visa applications to immigration and labor offices for the following: KSA employment visa, renewal / transfer visa, visit visa, tourist visa and foreign visa required for business travel after ensuring proper documentation
  • Assist with registration with KSA authorities: Ministry of Labor and Social Development (MOL), General Organization of Social Insurance (GOSI), Ministry of Labor & Social Development (MLSD), Absher, Qlwa, Mudad
  • Support clients with registering their office’s national address with government authorities
  • Assist registration with Ministry of Commerce & Industry (MOCI) to receive the Chamber of Commerce (CoC) certificate and activate the CoC account
  • Renew, update, and maintain the commercial licenses and other government certificates of all client’s legal entities to ensure that the documents are up to date
  • Arrange attestations of client’s documents as required
  • Accurate preparation of documents according to the requirement of the legal authorities
  • Provide continuous updates in the developing of visa process and facilitating with the governmental departments
  • Assist clients with banking facilities and ensure adequate support is provided in opening accounts

Experience and education

  • Minimum 5-7 years’ experience in government relations
  • Bachelor's Degree is preferable
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills both in Arabic and English
  • Strong background of KSA Commercial Company and labor law
  • High level of interpersonal skills to work effectively, particularly with local government bodies
  • Excellent organization skills
  • Knowledge and experience of the governmental portal system
