Description:

Key responsibilities:

• Formulate and supervise financial and operational plans in accordance with the hotel and divisional objectives.

• Develop annual budgets and business plans, proposing capital enhancements to elevate hotel assets and foster brand loyalty.

• Supervise the provision of exceptional guest services, ensuring timely responses and effective resolution of complaints and requests.

• Uphold product quality and service standards across the entire hotel.

• Implement and sustain preventative maintenance programs to protect the physical assets of the hotel.

• Identify and capitalize on strategic marketing opportunities, devising tactical sales plans to optimize revenue generation.

• Manage the execution of marketing plans and employ yield management strategies to maximize revenue, RevPAR, and occupancy levels.

• Optimize the utilization of banquet/outlet spaces and oversee additional revenue streams, such as IT and Rental, to enhance profitability.

• Collaborate with the Regional Corporate Office to maintain peak productivity levels in all hotel areas.

• Coordinate with Government authorities to ensure compliance with legislation.

• Spearhead Colleague Development initiatives and plans to improve operational and service performance.

• Cultivate and nurture relationships with key community contacts, ensuring a visible presence and adept handling of media/community inquiries.

• Supervise the security function to uphold a secure environment for guests, colleagues, and hotel assets.

• Establish and sustain a proactive Human Resource function to ensure colleague motivation, training and development, pay and benefit administration, and compliance with policies, procedures, and local labor regulations.

• Cultivate a positive work environment for all colleagues, offering mentorship through formal and informal meetings, discussions, and performance feedback.

• Operate in a safe and environmentally conscious manner, prioritizing the health and safety of guests and colleagues, as well as environmental conservation.

Requirements:

  • Relevant experience as GM in a 5* hotel.
  • Experience in KSA market.
  • Arabic speaking (preferred)
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree.
