Fuel Dispenser Technician

Description:

Key Responsibilities:
1- Installation and Setup: Perform installation of fuel dispensers, pumps, meters, and related equipment at fuel stations, ensuring compliance with manufacturer guidelines and safety regulations, and helping with the work of fire pump work.

2- Maintenance and Repair: Conduct routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting of fuel dispensing equipment to identify potential issues and maintain optimal performance.

3- Diagnostics and Troubleshooting: Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and electronic issues within fuel dispensers and systems, using specialized tools and testing equipment to determine root causes and implement solutions.

4- Calibration and Adjustment: Calibrate and adjust meters, pumps, and other dispensing components to ensure accurate fuel measurement, in line with local regulations and industry standards.

5- Safety and Compliance: Ensure all work complies with safety standards, local codes, and regulations related to fuel dispensing equipment. Follow best practices for handling hazardous materials and fuel systems.

6- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, service calls, repairs, and parts used. Provide detailed reports on completed tasks and identified issues.

Qualifications:
Experience: Minimum of 8 years of experience as a Fuel Dispenser Technician.

Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of fuel dispenser mechanics, electronics, and hydraulic systems; familiarity with diagnostic tools and calibration procedures.

Certifications: Relevant technical certifications are a plus.
Problem Solving: Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues independently.
Communication: Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to work well with customers, team members, and management.
Physical Requirements: Ability to lift heavy equipment, work in outdoor environments, and perform tasks that may require bending, climbing, and reaching.
