Front Office Core Engineer

We are seeking an Automated Core Network Operations Engineer to oversee the monitoring, management, and maintenance of Ericsson Core network elements. This role involves continuous service assurance, incident resolution, and network performance optimization to ensure seamless operations in compliance with SLAs.
📌 Key Responsibilities:
✅ 24/7 Network Monitoring & Alarm Handling – Supervise core network alarm events, service outages, and performance issues.
✅ Incident Management – Perform first-line fault diagnosis, restoration, and escalation of critical incidents.
✅ Performance Analytics – Conduct KPI analysis (NER, ASR, ACT) and investigate deviations affecting inbound, outbound, and roaming services.
✅ Network Operations & Troubleshooting – Handle MSS, ITSC, STP, MGW, MPBN, IP probes, and transport technologies (SDH, PDH, STM, ATM, IP).
✅ Charging System Support – Monitor IN nodes (SDP, AIR, OCC, CCN, VS, ECMS), handle reconciliation issues, and escalate charging-related complaints.
✅ Process Improvement & Documentation – Assist in refining operational processes and generating reports for KPI evaluation.
✅ Special Event Monitoring – Ensure service continuity during critical periods (Ramadan, Hajj, etc.).
✅ Cross-Team Coordination – Work closely with BO teams, vendors, and other operators for efficient fault resolution.
🎯 Requirements:
🎓 Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, IT, or a related field.
📅 2+ years of experience in Core Network Operations (Ericsson preferred).
📡 Strong knowledge of MSS, ITSC, STP, MGW, MPBN, IP Probes, SDH/PDH/Switches/Routers.
⚙️ Experience with network monitoring tools (Ericsson OSSRC, ENM, Winfiol).
🛠️ Understanding of charging systems & revenue assurance issues.
💡 Excellent problem-solving, analytical & communication skills.
🗣️ Fluent in English.
