Description:
We are currently seeking a skilled and detail-oriented freelance medical writer to join our team as a Proposal and Manuscript Specialist. In this role, you will play a crucial part in the research process by:
- Writing compelling research proposals to secure funding for various healthcare projects.
- Developing high-quality manuscripts for publication in peer-reviewed journals, adhering to journal guidelines and standards.
- Collaborating closely with researchers and subject matter experts to gather necessary information and ensure accuracy and relevance of content.
- Conducting thorough proofreading and editing of proposals, manuscripts, and other research-related documents to ensure clarity, coherence, and adherence to style guidelines.
- Assisting with literature reviews, data analysis, and other research-related tasks as needed.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or advanced degree in a relevant field (e.g., biomedical sciences, public health, healthcare administration).
- Proven experience in medical writing, with a focus on writing research proposals and manuscripts.
- Strong understanding of research methodologies, study design, and scientific writing conventions.
- Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
- Proficiency in using reference management software (e.g., EndNote, Mendeley) and familiarity with manuscript submission platforms (e.g., ScholarOne, Editorial Manager).
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet tight deadlines.
