Fitout - Project Director

Description:

The Fitout Project Director is responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of fit out projects from concept to completion. The position holder will work closely with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The position will manage a team of project managers, engineers, and other professionals to ensure that project objectives are met and that all stakeholders are kept informed throughout the project lifecycle.

Other Responsibilities Include

• Oversees the management of all aspects of fit out projects from concept to completion, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

• Entrust his team of project managers, engineers, and other professionals to ensure that project objectives are met and that all stakeholders are kept informed throughout the project lifecycle.

• Approves implementation of project plans, schedules, and budgets, and ensures that they are monitored and updated on an ongoing basis.

• Overlooks all project activities are carried out in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, and safety standards.

• Monitors and analyzes project performance against key performance indicators (KPIs), and propose recommendations as required. Main areas of expertise should include:

• Knowledge of project or construction management and supervision.
• Knowledge of computers and leading-edge building management tools. Knowledge of Business Accounting.
• Knowledge of Contracts development & administration
• Performance in quality and time management of the project.
• Awareness & sensitivity to project cost control and profitability.
• Technically knowledgeable in design and building construction systems.

About You:

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or Engineering

Professional Qualification in PMP.

With at least 25 years of experience in Fit out or Finishing project.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work and deliver in a fast-paced environment.

Strong decision maker, structured problem solver with excellent leadership skills.
