Fire Alarm / Fire Protection Technician

Description:

We are looking for a skilled Fire Alarm Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting fire alarm systems. Insuring fire alarm systems are fully operational and comply with all safety regulations

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or diploma degree in electrical engineer, fire protection engineer or equivalent required; technical training or a degree in electronics or a related field is preferred.
• Superior knowledge in NFPA 10, 13, 14, 15, 20, 25, 72 and 101.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in fire alarm systems, electrical work, or a related field.
• Strong technical skills, including the ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical manuals.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Physical fitness to handle the demands of the job, including lifting equipment and working in confined spaces.
• Good communication skills and a customer-focused attitude
• Certifications: Certifications in Fire Alarm Systems or equivalent are valuable, such as NICET (National Institute for Certification in Engineering Technologies) Level II or III in Fire Alarm Systems, or manufacturer-specific certifications (e.g., Honeywell, Siemens, Notifier).
