Key Responsibilities:

• Payments and Financial Systems Development:

• Design and implement scalable and secure payment systems for Onvaca’s platform.
• Integrate and optimize payment gateways to support seamless global and local transactions.
• Collaborate with technical teams to enhance payment workflows and user experiences.

• E-Commerce and Marketplace Expertise:

• Develop financial processes tailored to the needs of an e-commerce marketplace, including multi-currency payments, revenue splits, and commission handling.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and security standards specific to marketplace operations.
• Manage payment workflows for property owners and service providers on the platform.

• Financial Strategy and Planning:

• Oversee Onvaca’s financial strategy, ensuring alignment with the company’s growth objectives.
• Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reports to drive informed decision-making.
• Monitor financial performance, cash flow, and profitability to optimize resources.

• Compliance and Risk Management:

• Ensure compliance with Saudi and international financial regulations and tax laws.
• Establish and maintain internal controls to minimize risks and safeguard assets.
• Lead financial audits and maintain transparent financial reporting processes.

• Startup Expertise and Growth Support:

• Leverage startup experience to build and optimize financial systems and processes.
• Support fundraising efforts by preparing financial models, due diligence materials, and investor presentations.
• Collaborate with the leadership team to identify new revenue opportunities and cost-saving strategies.

• Team Leadership:

• Recruit, mentor, and lead a high-performing finance team.
• Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to align financial goals with business strategies.

Requirements:

• Experience:
• Minimum 8 years of experience in financial management, with at least 3 years in startups or e-commerce marketplace businesses.
• Proven expertise in payment gateways, multi-currency transactions, and financial technology solutions.
• Strong background in managing financial operations for platform-based businesses.
• Education:
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree or CFA/CPA is a plus).
• Technical Skills:
• Proficiency in financial modeling, budgeting, and reporting tools.
• Familiarity with global and Saudi financial regulations, including VAT and compliance standards.
• Knowledge of financial technology integrations and marketplace-specific payment workflows.
