Faculty Member (bioinformatics)

King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals (KFUPM) invites applications for Assistant/Associate/Full Professor positions in the field of Bioinformatics. We seek outstanding candidates with a strong background in Biology and Computer Science to join our dynamic and interdisciplinary faculty team.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct cutting-edge research in bioinformatics and related areas.
• Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in bioinformatics, biology, and computer science.
• Mentor students and contribute to curriculum development.
• Secure research funding and engage in collaborative projects.

Qualifications:

• Ph.D. in Bioinformatics, Bioengineering, Biology, Computer Science, or a closely related field.
• Strong publication record and research achievements.
• Proven teaching experience and mentorship experience for associate and full professor candidates.
• Experience in interdisciplinary collaboration is a plus.
• Preference is given to the following area of expertise: Bioinformatics, Biomarkers Discovery, Biologics Design, Personalized Medicine, A.I in Medicine. Candidates with background and/or degree in biology. And background and/or in computer science
