KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Compliance Management: Ensure that all projects adhere to local, regional, and national environmental laws, regulations, and industry best practices.
• Environmental Monitoring: Oversee environmental monitoring activities, including air and water quality assessments, waste management, and pollution prevention measures.
• Sustainability Initiatives: Develop and implement environmental and sustainability strategies to reduce the environmental footprint of construction activities.
• Risk Assessment: Conduct environmental risk assessments and audits to identify potential environmental risks and develop mitigation plans.
• Reporting: Prepare and submit environmental reports, assessments, and audits to regulatory bodies as required.
• Training and Education: Provide training to employees on environmental management practices and ensure all staff are aware of their environmental responsibilities.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Liaise with regulatory agencies, local authorities, project teams, and community stakeholders to ensure that environmental concerns are addressed.
• Waste and Resource Management: Manage waste disposal and recycling processes, ensuring resources are used efficiently and waste is minimized.
• Environmental Permitting: Assist in obtaining necessary environmental permits and approvals for construction projects.
• Emergency Preparedness: Develop and implement emergency response plans related to environmental incidents.
