Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) Subject Matter Expert (SME) responsible for the tactical aspects of facilitating SPARK’s ERM process.

The Risk Management Specialist is responsible for administering SPARK’s ERM process, which includes maintaining the risk registers and aggregating the information for presentations to the Board Audit Committee (BAC). This is a consultative role whereby information is gathered from risk owners and risk champions in a facilitative manner. Information is aggregated and consolidated so that it can be presented in a comprehensive format.

Job Scope:

Incumbent is fully qualified ERM Specialist with broad expertise and working knowledge. Interaction with risk champions and risk owners is not directly supervised as incumbent is expected to facilitate ongoing ERM updates independently and proactively.

Principal Duties:

• Partner with all admin area heads and other key stakeholders to facilitate risk identification, monitoring of key risk indicators (KRIs) and mitigation plan development.
• Contribute to the development, implementation, execution, and continuous improvement of managements approach to risk identification and mitigation.
• Design and update ERM dashboards, heat maps, etc. with KRIs and other relevant data to facilitate presentations to management and the BAC.
• Own, manage and update the Corporate Risk Register with key corporate risks, associated management response plans and residual risks to be tracked and reported.
• Organize and execute quarterly ERM update meetings, documents results, and prepare the appropriate updates.
• Performs other duties as required by management.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance or equivalent is required.
• Master's degree is preferred.
• A minimum of 6 years of related experience is required
