Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer with a minimum of 5-10 years of relevant experience, specializing in mid voltage and high voltage systems, and with Gulf-based project experience. The selected Electrical Engineer will play a pivotal role in our long-term project, responsible for the design, installation, and maintenance of mid voltage and high voltage electrical systems. Food, accommodation, and transportation will be provided by the company.
Key Responsibilities
- Electrical System Design : Develop and review electrical designs for mid voltage and high voltage systems, ensuring compliance with project specifications, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Project Planning : Assist in the planning and scheduling of electrical engineering activities related to mid voltage and high voltage systems, ensuring adherence to project timelines.
- Installation and Commissioning : Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of mid voltage and high voltage electrical systems and equipment.
- Technical Expertise : Provide technical leadership and support, offering expertise in mid voltage and high voltage systems to the project team.
- Troubleshooting : Diagnose and troubleshoot complex electrical issues in mid voltage and high voltage systems, implementing effective corrective actions to maintain system reliability.
- Quality Assurance : Ensure that all mid voltage and high voltage electrical work meets industry codes, standards, and safety regulations.
- Documentation : Maintain accurate records, including detailed electrical drawings, technical manuals, and reports pertaining to mid voltage and high voltage systems.
- Team Collaboration : Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, technicians, and project managers, to achieve project objectives.
- Budget Management : Assist in managing the electrical engineering budget for mid voltage and high voltage systems, tracking expenses and ensuring cost-effectiveness.
- Safety Compliance : Promote and enforce a strong safety culture in all electrical engineering activities related to mid voltage and high voltage systems.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 5-10 years of experience as an Electrical Engineer, with a focus on mid voltage and high voltage systems.
- Gulf-based project experience is mandatory.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred.
- Proficiency in electrical design software and tools.
- In-depth knowledge of mid voltage and high voltage electrical systems, including transformers, switchgear, and protection relays.
- Strong familiarity with electrical codes and standards related to mid voltage and high voltage systems.
- Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
