Drilling Equipment Engineer

Description:

We are looking to hire Senior Engineer, Drilling Equipment for our client in Saudi. This job role is to ensure the job holder is responsible to execute Mechanical Engineering activities for Drilling equipment (Concept, Front End Engineering Development, Technical Study, Detail Design) for new build rigs projects, provide technical guidance and support to project teams, ensuring that all engineering deliverables meet quality standards.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent.

Experience:

• Minimum of 9-15 years in engineering design department of any offshore rig building industry or relevant fields.

Professional Qualifications :

• Courses in Mechanical Engineering are preferred

Competencies (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities):

• Sound knowledge of international codes & standards, maritime regulations, and class rules.
• Exposure to AutoCAD and 3D design tools like AVEVA.
• Exposure to equipment sizing and calculations in jack up rigs.
• Demonstrated high order interpersonal skills and the ability to operate within a multinational environment.
• Demonstrated ability to influence and motivate others with regards to continuous improvement.
• Good communication and presentation skills.
