Job Responsibility
• Work closely with current and prospective customers to understand business needs and
provide technical support for resolving customer challenges
• Engage in problem-solving by performing system analysis, interpreting data and
providing recommendations to ensure customer operations are performing at optimal
levels
• Work with manufacturing partners to enhance product quality and optimize costs.
• Work with the regional Managers to drive the sales team to services existing accounts,
obtains orders, and establishes new accounts by planning and organizing daily work
schedule to call on existing or potential sales outlets and other trade factors.
• Effectively the principal responsibility ensures our sales teams exceed customer
requirements drive profitable growth.
Through:
- Maintaining and developing relationships with existing customers at all levels of an
organization, primarily by visits in person but also via telephone calls and emails.
- Making accurate, rapid cost calculations and providing customers with quotations.
- Negotiating the terms of an agreement and closing sales.
- Monitoring competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing,
products, new products, delivery schedules, merchandising techniques, etc.
- Organizing joint sale calls and attending them with vendors. Technical service,
management or colleagues.
- Preparing reports; making recommendations to management.
- Provides historical data by maintaining records on area and customer sales, and
records sales and order information, and entering figures into our IT systems used.
- Representing our company at trade exhibitions, events and demonstrations.
- Managing team meetings and sharing best practice with colleagues.
- Selling value and differentiating yourself from the competition.
