About the Role: The Director of Procurement role is a strategic position designed for a leader committed to excellence and innovation. You'll be responsible for shaping and driving the procurement strategy, managing a talented team, and fostering advancements in strategic sourcing, category management, and technology integration. This role is crucial in guiding our procurement division towards achieving operational and strategic goals, with a strong emphasis on compliance with KSA’s local content regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Craft and execute a comprehensive procurement strategy in alignment with corporate goals and the regulatory landscape of KSA.
- Lead, inspire, and manage the procurement team towards achieving excellence and meeting strategic objectives.
- Drive strategic sourcing and category management to optimize costs and ensure quality and sustainability.
- Lead the adoption and implementation of e-procurement and technological advancements to enhance procurement processes.
- Collaborate closely with stakeholders to ensure strategies are in compliance with local content and Saudization requirements.
- Navigate the operational strategy focusing on high-quality procurement standards within KSA’s specific market conditions.
What We’re Looking For:
- Extensive experience Director in a senior procurement and Transformation role within consultancy or multinational environments and must be already a KSA Resident,
- Expertise in procurement transformation, strategic sourcing, and category management.
- Fluent in Arabic and English, with outstanding leadership, communication, and team management abilities.
- Knowledgeable about KSA’s procurement regulations and local content policies.
- Educational background in Supply Chain Management, Business, or related fields.
