Snapshot of what you'll be doing:

 

Commercial Strategy: Develop and implement a global commercial strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives and investor expectations.

Sales & Revenue Growth: Drive revenue growth through direct sales in the UK and a combination of direct and reseller partnerships in Australasia and North America.

Market Expansion: Identify and capitalize on new market opportunities, tailoring strategies to each region’s regulatory and commercial landscape.

Partnership Development: Build and manage relationships with key resellers, distributors, and strategic partners to maximize growth in indirect channels.

Customer Engagement: Establish and maintain relationships with key enterprise customers, ensuring high satisfaction and retention.

Team Leadership: Building on a strong UK team, recruit, develop, and lead a high-performing commercial team, including sales, business development, and partnerships.

Pricing & Commercial Models: Develop competitive pricing strategies and commercial models to optimize revenue while delivering customer value.

Forecasting & Reporting: Provide accurate sales forecasts (using hubspot CRM), performance metrics, and strategic insights to the executive team and investors.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product, marketing, and operations teams to ensure commercial success and market fit.

 

We're ideally looking for:

 

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field (MBA preferred).

Proven experience in global commercial leadership, with a track record of revenue growth in water technology, infrastructure, or industrial solutions.

Extensive experience in sales, business development, and partnership management, ideally within multinational organisations.

Strong financial and commercial acumen, with a deep understanding of market drivers and business strategy.

Expertise in leading and mentoring high-performing teams, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence.

Ability to navigate complex commercial landscapes, including regulatory considerations, contract negotiations, and competitive positioning.

A strategic thinker with excellent influencing, negotiation, and leadership skills.
