Description:
Design and Implementation:
- Design efficient and scalable discovery solutions utilizing various Device42 modules, including SNMP, agent-based, and network scanning methods.
- Configure and customize Device42 to seamlessly integrate with existing IT infrastructure and tools, ensuring optimal performance and compatibility.
Automation and Optimization:
- Implement automation scripts and workflows to streamline and optimize discovery processes, enhancing efficiency and accuracy.
- Continuously refine discovery configurations and parameters to maintain data quality and relevance, staying abreast of industry best practices.
Data Validation and Enrichment:
- Validate discovered data for accuracy and completeness, proactively identifying and resolving any discrepancies.
- Develop custom data enrichment strategies to augment the value of discovered information, enriching asset attributes and metadata.
Reporting and Visualization:
- Generate comprehensive reports and intuitive dashboards visualizing discovered assets and their attributes, providing actionable insights to stakeholders.
- Provide ongoing support to clients, addressing queries and troubleshooting discovery-related issues promptly and effectively.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 4 years hands-on experience in implementation and customization of Device42 with excellent knowledge of its functionalities and configuration options.
- 3+ years of experience in IT infrastructure administration or network engineering, with a strong understanding of network discovery methodologies and tools (e.g., SNMP, agent-based).
- 3 years proven experience with IT asset management (ITAM) solutions or similar technologies.
- Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell) for automation and optimization.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues and recommend effective solutions.
- Experience with cloud-based infrastructure and discovery tools is desirable.
