Design Associate

HIVE is currently recruiting for a Design Associate to join our KSA team in Riyadh and to assist as a design custodian on all new Hive developments in KSA.

The Design Associate will oversee and guide all stakeholders during the design stage of Hive developments to ensure that the design lives up to the brand standards. The Design Associate will work across the entire lifecycle of the development process, from assisting with undertaking design feasibility studies at the inception of new developments, to compiling detailed design briefs for each specific development and then leading and managing the design consultant teams across all stages of design to ensure that all new developments stay true to the Hive design and brand standards.

Responsibilities:

Prepare design briefs, area programs and design criteria for new developments;

• Assist in vetting, selecting and appointing the design consultant team;
• Brief and guide the design consultant team throughout the design process;
• Manage all interactions with the design consultant team and key stakeholders to ensure that the development objectives are met, including adherence to the development brief, development program and development budget;
• Respond to design-related queries during the design and construction stages;
• Review design submissions for adherence to Hive’s brand standards;
• Assist with conducting design feasibility studies for new developments;

Requirements:

• Qualified Architect
• 2 – 5 Years’ Architectural Experience
• 2 – 5 Years’ KSA or UAE Experience
• Willing to be based in Riyadh, KSA
• Fluent in Arabic & English
