Description:
We are seeking a skilled Crewing Manager to play a pivotal role in ensuring our crew operations run smoothly and efficiently. This includes overseeing the recruitment, crewing, logistics, and administration operations.
Main Duties & Tasks:
- Identify staffing needs, post job listings, and coordinate with global recruitment agents to source and recruit officers and crew.
- Review CVs, conduct initial interviews, verify documents, negotiate salary and contract terms, and obtain final approval for hires.
- Plan and manage work and vacation periods, prepare rotation plans, and ensure compliance with contract requirements.
- Update and maintain crew documentation, and prepare and process monthly payroll for all officers and crew.
- Serve as the point of contact for officers and crew, addressing queries and resolving issues.
- Coordinate with agents for sign-on/sign-off processes and manage visa proceedings, including LOI for Saudi visas and other necessary visas (KSA, UAE, Oman, etc.).
- Arrange and process travel documentation, including COVID tests, hotel bookings, and local travel, while coordinating with travel agents for cost-effective flights.
- Handle daily correspondence and communications with vessels, and process flag state documentation according to vessel flag requirements.
- Identify and arrange necessary training for seafarers and follow up with accounts and vessels for payroll supporting documents.
- Coordinate with Aramco for CV submissions, review, and propose candidates for Aramco Quality and Assurance provisional approvals, while preparing necessary documents for Aramco and other authorities.
- Plan logistic mobilization of officers and crew, instruct vessels, agents, and contractors daily, and negotiate with service providers.
- Verify invoices received and coordinate with accounts for accurate processing.
