Requirements:

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience working in restaurants or hotels in Saudi Arabia, ideally in a company that operates multiple establishments
  • Extensive knowledge of and connections with suppliers in the F&B sector
  • Proven track record of successful negotiations and securing favourable terms
  • Strong leadership skills with experience in team management
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to analyze market trends and make data-driven decisions
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred

 

Responsibilities:

  • Supplier Negotiation: Engage with suppliers to negotiate favorable prices, credit terms, and contracts, ensuring the companies competitive edge in the market
  • Lead Purchasing Team: Provide leadership and direction to the purchasing team, ensuring alignment with the companies strategic goals and objectives
  • Supplier Relationship Management: Foster and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, ensuring consistent supply and exploring opportunities for partnerships
  • Market Analysis: Regularly analyze the market to identify potential new suppliers, price trends, and opportunities for cost savings
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, especially sales and operations, to ensure seamless integration of procurement strategies
  • Team Development: Mentor and develop the purchasing team, ensuring they are equipped with the skills and knowledge to excel in their roles
