Minimum of 7 years of experience working in restaurants or hotels in Saudi Arabia, ideally in a company that operates multiple establishments
Extensive knowledge of and connections with suppliers in the F&B sector
Proven track record of successful negotiations and securing favourable terms
Strong leadership skills with experience in team management
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to analyze market trends and make data-driven decisions
Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred
Responsibilities:
Supplier Negotiation: Engage with suppliers to negotiate favorable prices, credit terms, and contracts, ensuring the companies competitive edge in the market
Lead Purchasing Team: Provide leadership and direction to the purchasing team, ensuring alignment with the companies strategic goals and objectives
Supplier Relationship Management: Foster and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, ensuring consistent supply and exploring opportunities for partnerships
Market Analysis: Regularly analyze the market to identify potential new suppliers, price trends, and opportunities for cost savings
Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, especially sales and operations, to ensure seamless integration of procurement strategies
Team Development: Mentor and develop the purchasing team, ensuring they are equipped with the skills and knowledge to excel in their roles
