Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute the sales strategy. This includes setting sales goals, identifying target markets, and developing sales plans.
  • Architect and lead a high-performing sales organization that achieves revenue goals and drives business growth.
  • Increase sales revenue and market share through strategic planning and execution.
  • Develop and implement a product portfolio that meets the evolving needs of the market.
  • Oversee the sales team. This includes hiring, training, and motivating the sales team, as well as providing feedback and coaching.
  • Manage the sales pipeline. This includes tracking leads, opportunities, and deals, as well as ensuring that the pipeline is healthy and leads are being converted into customers.
  • Set sales quotas and targets. This includes ensuring that sales goals are realistic and achievable, as well as tracking progress against targets.
  • Analyze sales data. This includes using data to identify trends, identify areas for improvement, and make informed decisions.
  • Develop and implement sales training programs. This includes ensuring that the sales team is equipped with the skills and knowledge they need to be successful.
  • Work with other departments to align sales goals with overall business goals. This includes working with marketing, product development, and customer service to ensure that everyone is working towards the same objectives.
  • Oversee customer relationship management (CRM) systems. This includes ensuring that CRM systems are used effectively to track customer interactions and manage the sales process.
  • Represent the sales team to the rest of the company. This includes communicating the sales team’s goals and challenges to other departments, as well as representing the sales team’s interests to senior management.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key customers and prospects. This includes developing relationships with decision-makers, understanding their needs, and providing them with excellent service.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities. This includes researching new markets, developing new products and services, and identifying new ways to reach customers.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements. This includes ensuring that contracts are fair and beneficial to the company, as well as managing the contract lifecycle.
  • Oversee sales operations. This includes ensuring that sales processes are efficient and effective, as well as managing sales resources.
  • Oversee sales enablement. This includes providing sales teams with the tools and resources they need to be successful, such as sales materials, training, and coaching.
  • Manage sales budgets. This includes ensuring that sales budgets are aligned with sales goals, as well as tracking and managing expenses.
  • Report on sales performance. This includes providing regular reports to senior management on sales goals, progress, and challenges.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends. This includes reading industry publications, attending conferences, and networking with other sales professionals.
  • Identify and address sales challenges. This includes troubleshooting problems, implementing solutions, and making recommendations for improvement.
  • Motivate and inspire the sales team. This includes creating a positive and supportive work environment, as well as celebrating successes.
  • Develop a strategic vision for the sales department. This includes identifying opportunities for growth, developing new sales strategies, and setting long-term goals.
  • Oversee the implementation of new sales initiatives. This includes ensuring that new initiatives are successful, as well as adjusting as needed.
  • Manage the risk of sales losses. This includes identifying and mitigating risks, such as customer churn and competitive threats. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures This includes ensuring that sales activities are conducted in accordance with company policy.
  • Oversee the sales department’s ethical conduct. This includes ensuring that sales activities are conducted in an ethical and professional manner.
  • Act as a role model for the sales team. This includes demonstrating the behaviors and attitudes that the sales team should emulate._

  • 10+ years of senior-level sales experience in the HORECA industry
