About the Role: Chief Construction & Operations Officer- EPC Solar

They are currently looking for a leader to spearhead these Solar EPC projects and handle entire operations from green field stage to execution. The incumbent will take the ownership from the market research, selection of projects which can turn into a profitable strategic assets, conducting all the negotiations through an effective due diligence of prospective projects / assets.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for supervision, coordination and management control over the whole process of assessment and development of prospective projects from pre-design stage up to implementation stage (financial close and start/completion of construction; including competitive tendering in an auction scheme for renewable energy projects).
• This includes preparing a blue print for the organization in the Solar Energy & RE domain, building short and long term strategies to attain leadership in this category by implementing a world class project bidding to execution plans, building competent teams, creating and executing an operational road map, ROI plans, identifying vendors, working with the architects, planning, project monitoring and time bound executions with eye on costs and quality.

Qualifications:

An engineering graduate with 25-30 years of experience out of which atleast 5 years in a similar leadership role with accountability for overall function in construction and operations. An MBA will be an added advantage. Experience in working in similar large EPC companies with a proven track record in executing solar power projects is mandatory.The role is designed to attract the best of the talent and the compensation and the career progression is aligned accordingly.
