Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Certified Medical Coder at Dar As Salama Medical Hospital in Al Khobar. The Certified Medical Coder will be responsible for assigning diagnostic and procedural codes to patient records and ensuring accuracy for billing and insurance purposes.

Qualifications

• Certification as a Professional Coder (CPC) or Certified Coding Specialist (CCS)
• Proficiency in medical coding systems, such as ICD-10-CM and CPT
• Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology
• Attention to detail and accuracy in coding procedures and diagnoses
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment
• Experience with electronic health records (EHR) and healthcare software
• Understanding of medical billing and insurance processes
