Description:

The Business Intelligence and Data Analysis Manager is responsible for transforming data into actionable insights to support strategic decision-making. This role involves data collection, analysis, and visualization, ensuring data integrity, and providing comprehensive reports to various stakeholders.

Key Accountabilities :

• Data Collection and Management:

Gather and integrate data from various sources to ensure comprehensive data sets for analysis.

Maintain and manage data warehousing and data lakes.

Ensure data quality, accuracy, and consistency.

• Data Analysis:

Conduct detailed data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights.

Utilize statistical methods and data analysis tools to interpret data.

Perform predictive and prescriptive analytics to support business decisions.

• Business Intelligence Development:

Develop and maintain BI reports, dashboards, and data visualizations using tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Oracle FAW or QlikView.

Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their data needs and deliver standard or customized BI solutions.

Continuously improve and optimize BI processes and systems.

• Reporting and Communication:

Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations that communicate data insights clearly and effectively.

Translate complex data into understandable and actionable business insights.

• Collaboration and Support:

Work closely with cross-functional teams to support data-driven decision-making.

Provide technical expertise and training to team members and stakeholders on BI tools and data analysis techniques.

Act as a data advocate within the organization, promoting best practices in data analysis and BI.

• Continuous Improvement:

Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in BI and data analysis.

Recommend and implement new tools and technologies to enhance data analysis capabilities.

Identify areas for process improvement and efficiency gains within the BI function.

Academic and professional qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in data science, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in business intelligence, data analysis, or a related role.
• Proficiency in BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Oracle FAW, QlikView) and data analysis software (e.g., SQL).
• Experience with data warehousing, ETL processes, and database management.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Experience with cloud-based and on-premises BI and data analytics platforms.
• Knowledge of machine learning and predictive analytics techniques.
• Familiarity with regulations (e.g., NCA).
