Key Responsibility:
- Identify and Develop New Business Opportunities: Explore new markets and segments within the exhibition sector. Develop strategies to penetrate new business areas.
- Sell Exhibition Space: Drive sales of exhibition spaces through proactive outreach and client engagement.
- Promote Our Event: Utilize a variety of marketing channels (e.g., social media, email marketing, targeted advertising) to promote events and sell exhibition space.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with potential and existing clients. Understand client needs and propose tailored solutions.
- Sales Strategy Implementation: Create and execute strategies to meet and exceed sales targets. Increase market share through innovative approaches.
- Collaborate with Marketing Team: Develop promotional materials and campaigns to support business development efforts.
- Industry and Market Analysis: Stay updated on industry trends, competitive activities, and market changes to adjust strategies accordingly.
- Networking and Representation: Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and exhibitions. Network and promote the business effectively.
- Reporting and Forecasting: Prepare and present regular sales forecasts, reports, and updates to the management team.
- Strategy Development: Contribute to the development and refinement of the company’s business development strategies.
Required Qualifications
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- Master’s degree is a plus.
Experience:
- Proven track record in Exhibitions & Conferences sales.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role.
- Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of the exhibition industry and market trends.
- Skills: Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to build and maintain client relationships.
- Proficient in using CRM software and other sales management tools.
- Experience in developing and implementing sales strategies.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities.
- Personal Attributes: Results-driven and customer-focused. High degree of initiative and self-motivation. Ability to work independently and within a team. Willingness to travel and represent the company at industry events and exhibitions.
