Description:
Brief about the role:
• High level of understanding across various industries/ sectors – all BD should know the details of every industry – the technicality of selling people and the skillset is key especially in certain industries like oil & gas, constructions, etc.
• Should have exposure participating in government tenders – they need to know how to write RFPs, they need to know how to register in tenders especially in Qatar any deal over 1m riyals everything is on public tender and its all channeled through one portal so they need to have experience in doing this.
• Knowledge in creating technical and commercial responses
• Maintaining existing decent portfolio within GCC region – no BD role is only to bring new business – once business is brought to the portfolio then the Account Manager steps in and ensures that relationships are maintained and more business is extracted.
• Generating leads and converting potential recruitment mandates (New business development)
• Key account Manager will take over - In case of client escalations, BDM involvement
• Target: Outsourcing 1000+ employees/ yearly – this is the sweet spots for the candidate
• Local market experience required
