At our client, we are seeking a dynamic individual who possesses a blend of business analysis and BI development skills to join our Data Analytics team. The ideal candidate will be adept at translating business requirements into data-driven solutions and have a strong foundation in BI toolsets and data analytics. This role involves collaborating with various stakeholders to design, develop, and deploy BI solutions that enhance decision-making and operational efficiency across the organization.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Coordinate with diverse business stakeholders to identify and compile business requirements for data projects (Data Engineer, BI or Data science). Conduct thorough business and systems analysis and translate them into detailed functional specifications.
- Own the data project end-end and build a plan for all the elements of data source systems, data flow design, integrations and UI wireframes required for deliverables.
- Track project progress, manage risks, and ensure timely delivery of project deliverables.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, including but not limited to, business requirements documents, functional specifications, and process flows.
- Strive to become the technical SME (subject matter expert) on Data source systems (like Yardi, Oracle fusion and other ERPs) and be the single point of contact for business on data project queries.
- Work with the development team to ensure a complete understanding of all technical specifications to meet business requirements.
- Own the testing and QA validation cycles to ensure the accuracy and integrity of data presented in BI reports and dashboards.
- Develop improvement strategies to meet the business needs and develop business process modelling procedures.
- Proactively work on risk assessment by carrying out quality checks to determine the need for any corrective actions
- Identify training needs for team members and develop related programs
- Willingness and flexibility to work in an agile environment
- Support the Project Manager in adhering to project budgets and on-time project delivery, among other challenges
- Representing the requirements through UML Modelling and documenting it
