  • Job Responsibilities
  • Functional/Technical Responsibilities Operating yacht up to 20 meters in length to transport RSG guests from/to RSG islands destinations. Ensure the safety and security of passengers and crew onboard the yacht while sailing. Ensure all vessel operations are performed in accordance with local and international regulations. Complying with the navigation routes and destinations, as well as the rules and regulations of the waterways. Maintaining the yachts and their equipment in good working conditions, performing routine checks and maintenance as required. Adhering to all rules, regulations, standards, and guidelines. Providing excellent customer service, answering guests' questions, and addressing their concerns. Handling any emergency situations that may arise, such as engine failure or passenger accidents. Maintain accurate records of all vessel operations. Assign duties to crew members according to their skills and qualifications. Supervise and coordinate the activities of crew members. Train and evaluate crew members on safety and emergency procedures. Monitor fuel, water, and other supplies aboard the yacht and arrange for re-supply when necessary. Works with deckhand in the mooring/unmooring the yacht.
  • Policies, Systems, Processes, Procedures, Standards and Reports Follow all relevant functional policies, processes, standard operating procedures, and instructions to ensure that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner. Assist in the preparation of accurate and timely functional MIS statements and reports to meet corporate and functional requirements, policies, and standards.
  • Job Requirements
  • Qualification and Experience Degree in nautical science or equivalent. +7 years of experience as captain for recreational powered yacht around 20 m. Must hold valid Passenger Ship Safety Valid Certificate or equivalent. Must hold valid IYT Bareboat / RYA Coastal Skipper for vessel around 24 meter in length or equivalent. Must hold valid STCW Certificate or equivalent. Must hold valid VHF Operator Certificate or equivalent. Must be fulfilled all the requirements of Boarder guard marine craft driving license, including Familiar with the law of preventing collision at sea, seamanship, and marine aids Familiar with the operation and maintenance of maritime machines/engines Familiar with how to use the navigational lights.

  • Strong knowledge of the local waterways, including hazards and navigational challenges.

  • Experience in driving Pershing 64 Riva 75 yachts is a plus.
  • Proficiency in swimming.
  • Core Competencies
  • Vessel operations Extensive knowledge of sailing and navigation techniques.
  • Having strong knowledge of the marine environment and weather patterns
  • Proficient in operating various types of boats and yachts around to 20 meter in length.
  • Ability to read and interpret navigational charts, weather reports, and other maritime information.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and effectively with passengers, crew, and other personnel.
  • Ability to make sound decisions in difficult situations.
  • Ability to maintain accurate records of voyage logs.
  • Strong Knowledge of relevant regulations and safety standards.
  • Ability to safely operate and dock vessels in various marine environments.
