Beauty & Cosmetic Area Manager

 

Description:

The Area Manager will oversee the performance and operations of beauty and cosmetics stores across the assigned region, ensuring achievement of sales targets, operational excellence, and customer satisfaction. The role requires a focus on driving business growth, enhancing the brand’s presence, and leading the store teams to deliver outstanding service in line with the brand’s standards.

  • Key Responsibilities:Operational Management:
  • Oversee day-to-day operations of multiple retail stores within the assigned area (Jeddah & Riyadh).
  • Ensure that all stores adhere to company policies, procedures, and high standards of customer service.
  • Monitor store compliance with operational standards, including merchandising, stock levels, and visual presentation.
  • Sales and Profitability:
  • Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and drive profitability for all stores in the region.
  • Monitor sales performance, analyze KPIs, and provide actionable insights to store managers to meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to promote seasonal campaigns, new product launches, and in-store promotions.
  • Team Leadership:
  • Lead, motivate, and develop a team of store managers and their staff, fostering a culture of performance and customer-centricity.
  • Provide regular coaching, training, and performance evaluations to improve staff productivity and maintain high employee engagement levels.
  • Drive recruitment, onboarding, and talent development initiatives to ensure stores are staffed with highly competent and enthusiastic team members.
  • Inventory Management:
  • Ensure proper stock levels and inventory management across stores, minimizing shrinkage and optimizing product availability.
  • Coordinate with the supply chain team for timely restocking of high-demand products and efficient handling of deliveries.
  • Customer Experience:
  • Ensure that the highest level of customer service is maintained across all stores.
  • Handle escalated customer issues and ensure effective resolution in line with the brand’s customer service policies.
  • Brand Management & Store Presentation:
  • Ensure stores reflect the brand’s image and adhere to visual merchandising guidelines.
  • Monitor the implementation of in-store promotions and new product displays to attract customers and drive sales.
  • Reporting:
  • Prepare regular reports on store performance, sales trends, and operational efficiency, and present them to senior management.
  • Propose initiatives to enhance store performance based on data-driven insights.
  • Market Analysis:
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends and opportunities within the beauty and cosmetics sector.
  • Provide feedback to the product development team on customer preferences and emerging market trends.
  • Qualifications & Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in retail management, preferably within the beauty and cosmetics industry.
  • Proven track record of managing multiple retail outlets and achieving sales targets.
  • Strong leadership, team management, and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and retail management systems (POS, ERP).
  • Fluent in English and Arabic (preferred).
  • Ability to travel between Jeddah and Riyadh locations as needed.
