Description:
Cloud Security consultant – Azure
- 4+ years of experience in cloud security, with a focus on Azure environments
- Design, implement, and manage security controls for Azure cloud environments.
- Monitor and respond to security incidents, vulnerabilities, and alerts in Azure.
- Develop and maintain security policies, standards, and best practices for cloud security.
- Conduct regular security assessments and audits of cloud infrastructure to identify and mitigate risks.
- Collaborate with DevOps and development teams to integrate security into the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
- Implement and manage Identity and Access Management (IAM) policies, including Azure Active Directory (AAD).
- Configure and manage Azure security services, such as Azure Security Center, Azure Key Vault, and Azure Sentinel.
- Design and implement network security measures, including firewalls, security groups, and VPNs.
- Develop and maintain security automation scripts and tools using PowerShell, Python, or other relevant scripting languages.
- Experience with container security (e.g., Kubernetes, Docker) in Azure environments.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and integrating security into DevOps practices.
- Familiarity with Zero Trust security models.
- Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Python) for automation and security task automation.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest security trends, vulnerabilities, and technologies in Azure.
- Strong understanding of Azure security services and best practices
