Description:
Key Responsibilities:
- Installation:
- Install AVL/GPS tracking devices in vehicles and ensure proper connectivity.
- Configure and calibrate AVL systems according to client specifications.
- Ensure all installations are compliant with safety standards and company guidelines.
- Maintenance:
- Perform routine maintenance and software updates on AVL systems.
- Troubleshoot and repair any issues with GPS devices, sensors, and other telematics equipment.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure the optimal performance of AVL systems.
- Troubleshooting:
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues reported by clients.
- Provide on-site and remote support to address client concerns.
- Document all service and repair actions in our ticketing system.
- Support:
- Provide technical support to clients, addressing any AVL-related issues.
- Assist with system integrations and updates as needed.
- Document all service activities and maintain accurate records of installations and repairs.
Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree or certification in Electronics, Telecommunications, Automotive Technology, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience with GPS/AVL systems, telematics, or vehicle electronics.
- Strong understanding of vehicle wiring, GPS technology, and network communications.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to client sites as needed.
