Assistant Catering Manager

 

Description:

We are seeking a full-time Assistant Catering manager to join our team in Al Khobar. The Assistant Catering manager will be responsible for generating revenue and building relationships with clients and partners. Additionally, this role will oversee customer satisfaction and ensure that the company's brand is being accurately represented.

 

Ø Client Acquisition and Relationship Management:

· Identify and target potential clients for catering services.

· Build and maintain strong relationships with clients through effective communication and excellent customer service.

· Respond promptly to client inquiries and follow up to secure business.

 

Ø Sales Presentations and Proposals:

· Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations to potential clients.

· Create detailed and customized catering proposals outlining menu options, pricing, and services.

· Negotiate contracts and terms with clients to close sales deals.

 

Ø Event Coordination and Collaboration:

· Collaborate with the culinary team to design catering menus that meet clients' needs and preferences.

· Coordinate with event planners and other departments to ensure seamless execution of catering events.

· Conduct site visits and work closely with clients to plan event details, including menu selection, logistics, and setup requirements.

 

Ø Sales Strategy and Reporting:

· Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve catering revenue targets.

· Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to adjust sales strategies as needed.

· Prepare regular sales reports and updates for management, outlining sales performance, challenges, and opportunities.

 

Ø Customer Satisfaction and Feedback:

· Follow up with clients after events to gather feedback and assess customer satisfaction.

· Address any issues or concerns raised by clients and work towards resolving them promptly.

 

Ø Administrative Tasks:

· Maintain accurate records of catering sales activities, contracts, and payments.

· Ensure all administrative tasks related to catering sales, such as invoicing and documentation, are completed accurately and on time.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in catering sales or a similar role within the hospitality industry.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent negotiation and sales skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in using sales and CRM software.
  • Knowledge of food and beverage industry trends and catering best practices.
  • Willingness to work irregular hours, including evenings and weekends, to accommodate client schedules and events.
