Assembly Team Leader
Description:
- Supervise and motivate a team of assembly technicians, providing guidance, coaching, and support to ensure optimal performance.
- Foster a culture of teamwork, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the assembly team.
- Oversee the assembly process of RMU gas tanks, ensuring adherence to production schedules and quality standards.
- Monitor equipment performance and address any technical issues or maintenance requirements to minimize downtime.
- Implement and enforce quality control measures to ensure that all assembled gas tanks meet regulatory standards and customer specifications.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
- Identify opportunities to streamline assembly processes, improve efficiency, and reduce waste.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement best practices and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Training and Development:
- Provide training to assembly technicians on proper assembly techniques, safety procedures, and equipment operation.
- Promote a culture of learning and skill development within the team to enhance overall performance and productivity.
- Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate records of production activities, including inventory levels, work orders, and quality assurance documentation.
- Generate regular reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as production output, quality metrics, and adherence to schedules.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
- Proven experience in a leadership role within a manufacturing or assembly environment, preferably in the electrical industry.
- Strong technical knowledge of assembly processes, equipment, and materials used in the manufacturing of RMU gas tanks.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively lead and motivate a diverse team.
- Proficiency in problem-solving and decision-making, with a focus on driving results and achieving production targets.
- Knowledge of quality management systems and regulatory requirements related to product manufacturing.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities while maintaining a high level of attention to detail.
