Essential Job Duties
- Manages the team that has the responsibility for construction oversight and compliance of contractors, ensuring works are carried out as per the drawings, specifications and standards, as per schedule and ensures compliance to ES&H plans, quality standards and local/national regulatory safety codes
- Oversee performance of the installation contractors, project status, schedule, cost control, change management systems
- Lead and coordinate with contractors, architects, engineers, client, and other stakeholders involved in the project execution
- Leads input to ensure continuous construction work fronts availability through review of look ahead schedules, commodity charts, resource charts, engineering deliverables, material delivery schedules and any other service requirements including contractor submittals
- Ensures required permits and licenses are in place prior to the start of the specific work at site. Verifies compliance with Permit and License requirements and stipulations
- Responsible for a multi-functional team who will be reviewing and approving the contractor's submittals, schedule acceptance, technical queries, Field change documents and other submittal documents including Drawings and As-Builts
- Ensure all materials and equipment on the site fully comply with international standard and technical specification requirements
- Ensure the closure of project is systematic and complete in all respects
- Maintains an effective relationship with client, stakeholders and other functional departments and coordinates all jobsite contractual activities
- Coordinates and monitors interfaces with other contractors, lead the review meetings
- Leads the progress walks with Contractor onsite and hosts the weekly progress meeting.
Qualifications, Experience, Job Knowledge, And Skill Set Requirements
- A recognized degree in bachelor’s or master’s degree in architecture
- Shall have a minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience
- Knowledge of Architectural design pertaining to Façades, contracts administration and/or cost and scheduling relating to the construction of large-scale infrastructure projects.
- Computer literate in word processing, spreadsheet, and database applications.
- Awareness of environmental compliance laws and requirements.
- Awareness of government compliance standards.
- Familiarity with current industry quality standards
