As part of our expansion strategy, we are seeking an experienced Marketing Manager to spearhead our growth across the African continent. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving market penetration, enhancing brand awareness, facilitating user onboarding, and leading customer acquisition efforts.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies to effectively penetrate the African market.
- Lead PR initiatives, craft compelling marketing campaigns, and oversee their execution to achieve brand objectives.
- Organize and execute both offline and online events to increase brand visibility and user engagement.
- Guide the social media strategy for the African market, ensuring active presence and engagement across all relevant platforms.
- Collaborate with both local teams in Africa and remote global teams to align marketing efforts with Bitget's overall strategic goals.
- Analyze market trends and performance metrics, including growth in user base, engagement rates, and ROI on marketing campaigns, to inform data-driven marketing decisions.
- Foster partnerships and collaborations that can aid in achieving Bitget's market expansion and user acquisition goals in Africa.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in the cryptocurrency industry, with a strong understanding of market dynamics and user needs.
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing strategies and campaigns.
- Experience in organizing and leading both offline and online events.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to leverage data in making strategic marketing decisions.
- Exceptional ability to work under pressure and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
- Previous experience working for top 10 cryptocurrency exchanges is highly desirable.
- Proficient in both English and one or more African languages is preferred.
- Ability to work effectively in a team that spans across different geographies.
